For your main post choose two of the following CPU scheduling algorithms and describe a scenario(s) in which makes it the best fit OR describe a scenario(s) in which makes it the worst fit. The size of virtual memory can sometimes be adjusted by a computer user to improve system performance. Using an operating system of your choice, discover if you can change the size of virtual memory, how to do so, and the minimum and maximum recommended sizes of virtual memory. Write a brief summary including what virtual memory is and how it is utilized by your operating system, what operating system was utilized for this hand-on exercise; providing a screen capture of the virtual memory settings, and the steps required to retrieve the desired information. Prepare a presentation where you discuss the different dynamic storage allocation algorithms, First-fit, Best-fit, and Worst-fit. Include the pros and cons of each algorithm? Conclude with which algorithm is the best? Support your argument with references and utilize graphics/illustrations if they add value to your presentation discussion.
Required Actions: Research industry standard benchmarks for processors and evaluate two processors currently in production.
Write a 2 page paper comparing two processors currently being produced for computers (computers = desktop, laptop, tablet, wearable device, smart device, etc.). Use standard industry benchmarks for your comparison and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each. You can compare different processors from the same manufacturer or different processors from different manufacturers.
