Even though non-probability sampling techniques can be inferior to probability sampling techniques it can still be a viable alternative to use in a study. Since this method will still ensure a quantitative research design is followed when the possibility of probability sampling is not available. For instance, A non-probability sampling technique such as the snowball sampling will be handy for hard to reach populations such as drug addicts. This technique could provide viable subjects for a study on this population.
