Now that we have a good picture of some of the project constraints, and the importance of having a clear scope, I would like to get your perspective on some aspects of building a WBS and scheduling projects.
Please comment on one or all of the following:
- Is there more than one way to create en effective WBS? If so, how would you develop the best WBS for your project?
- How does a WBS help create a network diagram, and how does a network diagram help in creation of a schedule?
- Why is it important to have both effort and duration estimates in creating a schedule, and how would you gather input to create those estimates?
