Hello everyone my name is Jennifer Blades. I am working on my Bachelors in Arts in Early Childhood Education. I see myself as a very reserved, kind, and loyal person. I am a paraprofessional at an elementary school in my hometown. I have been employed at my school for 4 years now. I absolutely love working there. I work with kindergarten through fifth grade. I am co teaching a computer class and love working with all grade levels. After I leave work I come home to my wonderful children and to the love of my life. I enjoy health and fitness. I think it’s very important to eat healthy and cook healthy. I love to go for long walks and jog. Exercise has helped me to control my severe migraines. I love my family and want them healthy. My goal in life is to show my children it’s never too late to go back to school. I want to work in education and hopefully teach first or second grade. I am a positive person and have overcome hard times with hard work. I made a lot of bad choices that lead to my hard times but I am very proud that it did not break me. I made the choice to work hard with baby steps and little by little things started to get better in my life. I want to be a good example and role model for my girls and show them even when things seem like they cannot get better stay positive and fight. I also want to excel in education and learn everything I possibly can. I work at a school where we have life skills on our campus. I am familiar working with students who have different forms of disabilities. I am very comfortable working with them. It does not matter if they are in a wheel chair, unable to speak, or have sensory disabilities. I love to see them in my class and I love to build a relationship with them. I also have one year academic experience in occupational therapy assistant. I have a passion to help and inspire children and adults. I want to learn any way possible to help every child achieve a successful education even with a disability.
